Account Deletion

At FaaSup, we take the privacy and control of your personal data very seriously, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In compliance with Google Play’s mandatory requirements, this page allows FaaSup users to request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated data without needing to have the application installed on their device.

1. How to request account deletion

If you wish to close your FaaSup account, you must make the request via email. This method ensures that we can verify the identity of the account holder before proceeding with the irreversible destruction of the information.

2. Email Subject

To expedite the process and ensure the request is handled with appropriate priority, the address and subject must be as follows:

  • Contact address: info@faasup.com

  • Subject: Account Deletion Request – FaaSup

3. Data to include in the message

For security reasons, you must provide the necessary information to uniquely identify your account:

  • Email address registered in the FaaSup application.

  • Username associated with the account.

4. Response timeframe

Once the request is received, our team will process the deletion within a maximum of 7 calendar days. This period is stricter than the usual one-month margin granted by the GDPR to ensure a swift response to deletion requests.

5. Detailed list of data being deleted

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Upon completion of the process, the following data will be erased from our infrastructure (Supabase):

  • Identification: Email address and access credentials.

  • Profile: Username and any personal images or descriptions.

  • Apartment data: All information regarding housing management entered by the user.

  • Activities: Historical record of interactions and activity within the app.

  • Technical data: Device identifiers and performance logs.

6. Data retained due to legal obligation

In accordance with current regulations, FaaSup may retain a limited copy of certain data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Fraud prevention and system security.

  • Compliance with judicial requirements or European Union government regulations.

7. Legal retention period

Data retained due to legal obligation will be kept in a blocked state (only accessible for authorities or critical security cases) for a maximum period of 12 months. Once this period has ended, the information will be permanently destroyed.

8. Deletion confirmation

Once the account has been successfully deleted and personal data has been erased from our active servers, you will receive a confirmation email at the email account you originally registered.
